Questions
Is ScrubPic free?
Yes. ScrubPic is free to use and is supported by ads. There’s no account and no limit on how many files you clean.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are read and cleaned by your own browser and are never sent to ScrubPic or anyone else. Once the page has loaded, the tool even works without internet.
Does cleaning reduce quality?
No. ScrubPic doesn’t re-save or re-compress anything. It removes the blocks that hold the hidden information and leaves the image, video and sound data exactly as they were.
Which files work?
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and AVIF photos, and MP4, MOV and M4V videos. GIF, RAW and MKV files aren’t supported yet.
Can I keep some of the information?
Yes. Tap “Choose what to delete” on any file and untick what you want to keep, such as the date. Everything else is removed.
